Leisurely Leon

On arriving in Leon, famous for its shoes, we met up with Teresa, a contact that Michael and Marion had made through their PanAmericanArte project (www.panamericanarte.com). We were immediately treated to lunch, accompanied by a glass of tequila. After arrangements were made for a painting session the following day, we were guided across town to a vacant lot next to the house of one of Teresa’s sisters where we established a very comfortable camp.

The next couple of days flew by, as Teresa’s niece, Maru, contributed another panel to the PanamericanArte canvas and we took in the sights, shops and restaurants of this very vibrant and modern city.

¡Muchas Gracias Teresa por tu hospitalidad!
